As a young girl I always had a passion for babies and a love of fashion.  Growing up and during college vacations, I worked with my father, an interior designer, and learned firsthand about the wonderful world of color, texture, fabrics and design. 

Your baby's nursery (and the crib specifically) is where your baby will spend 80% of his or her first year.  The crib is the main focal point of the nursery, and the walls, floors and accessories are a visual extension of the colors, textures and patterns of the crib bedding.  Like other rooms in your home, your nursery should reflect your own personal style, but what makes this room different is that it's filled with emotions and expectations that are wonderfully powerful!  With over 200 carefully selected fabrics, we'll have fun putting together different combinations.  With your vision and my expertise, the "right" combination will emerge.

Having a baby is a wonderful time, but there's no doubt it can be overwhelming with many decisions to be made in a world that's new to you.  I love making this journey personal, fun, convenient and affordable so you can see your nursery vision become reality.  At Suzy Q Designs, I have created an intimate and relaxed setting to help you get started.  Make an appointment that suits your schedule and bring your spouse/companion, mother, sister or friend.  You will feel great as we make the first big step in "getting ready for your baby!"
